Treatments
What to expect at your Massage or Reflexology treatment session:
Reflexology
A reflexology treatment session lasts around 90 minutes. At the first treatment, time is taken to complete a questionnaire to give an understanding of your specific needs and issues.
You will be seated in a reclined position, footwear is removed. After gently warming up and relaxing the feet with massage, firm but gentle pressure is applied to each reflex in turn. Tender areas may indicate congestion or an imbalance in the corresponding part of the body.
Depending on what problem areas are identified at this stage your therapist will then proceed to treat various parts of the body or body systems to try to alleviate congestion or rebalance the body.
Gentle massage and foot exercises are used towards the end of the session. Most people find the treatment extremely relaxing and feel energized at the end.
